The apartment is well located and you have all kinds of shops 5/10 min (supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, tobacco, restaurants etc). The city center (Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus) is about 20/30 min by metro. People are cool and the neighborhood is quiet.The DLR (Shadwell) is 4 minutes walks and 1 stop away from Bank station. You can be in Oxford Circus in 20 min (that's if you know your way around and don't spend 30 minutes figuring out where to go :) ). The Overground (Shadwell) is 4 minutes walks or you can also take the bus. Also, there is a Boris bike station 3 min walk away so you can cycle around London.
