This warm and welcoming cottage has a bright kitchen which is fully fitted with modern appliances, a cosy yet spacious living room with a wood burning stove and three comfortable bedrooms. The house is child friendly and we also accept pets

Aldi works in a large barn behind the house as a Harris Tweed Weaver. He travels daily from town and only works during the week and although you wont see or hear him, he will be available should you need him. If you require space to store bikes/canoes etc. you can use the barn for this.

We are located 17 miles from the main town of Stornoway and 8 miles from the most northerly village, the Port of Ness. Ness has is very community orientated and contains a sports center with swimming pool (Spors Nis) a bowling alley, several shops, a butcher and some cafes. Borve house hotel, a lovely restaurant and bar, is located just 500meters from the house. There is the stunning Eoropie beach is in Ness and this is where many locals go to surf. Just beside the beach is a large and impressive outdoor play park perfect for the kids. There is a coastal walk from Melbost to a Ness should it take your fancy.
