One of our top picks in Folkestone. 10to12 is a traditional Victorian property located in the port town of Folkestone, 6 minutes’ walk from spacious green parkland with a picnic area and sandy beach.
Each 10to12 guest room has an en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV with DVD player, and tea/coffee making facilities.
A breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients is served in the large wood-paneled dining room. Guests can take advantage of a ‘build your own’ cooked breakfast, choosing any combination for their full English. Specials and vegetarian options are also available daily.
Leas Cliff Hall is just 100 yards away and offers a wide variety of entertainment all year round. Folkestone town centre offers a range of quirky stores, cool bars and restaurants.
10to12 Folkestone, is a beautiful Victorian house independently owned and operated by Mark and Leigh Nevill, with our excellent local staff. Since January 2014, we have been the very proud owners of 10to12. We purchased the property in quite a poor condition and have devoted our time and energy restoring this wonderful old building back to it's former glory. Estimated to have been built around 1870, it has been quite a challenge to get this grand old building back on it's feet. Our aim has been to try and achieve the perfect mix of contemporary guest accommodation, whilst still retaining as many original features as we were able, and we are confident we have accomplished that.
A husband and wife team who live and work at 10to12, our emphasis is on personal service to all guests who come and share our home with us.
Folkestone is a vibrant, upcoming town and a wonderful base from which to explore the town itself as well as the Kent Coast and Countryside. 10to12 is situated 100 metres from The Leas in a town centre location. A short stroll takes you to the Creative Quarter where you will find a whole range of independent bohemian shops, galleries and excellent local restaurants. During the summer months why not pop along and discover the attractions of the Harbour Arm. Here you will find a variety of pop up restaurants, bars and live entertainment. We also have two fantastic theatres, plenty of green parkland with the award winning Leas Costal Park not to mention our two beautiful beaches, Sunny Sands and Mermaid Beach. All of this less than an hour's train journey from London!
