Gorgeous 3 bed cottage on Kilclief Beach, just outside Strangford, Co. Down. Safe swimming on a sandy beach for bucket and spade holidays, or miles of walking, cycling or canoeing from your doorstep. Close to National Trust Castle Ward (Game of Thrones territory) and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with amazing picnic places you can only access on foot.

Easy parking available, 3 miles to Strangford where there is a shop with butcher, another shop with postoffice, 3 restaurants, bars, off license and the Strangford-Portaferry ferry. Downpatrick is 20mins away with banks and supermarkets. Golf courses in Ardglass, Downpatrick and Newcastle are all within 20-30minutes drive. Cycling, walking, swimming and canoeing are all popular activities here and accessible from the doorstep. Equipment rental is available at ClearSky Adventure, based at Castle Ward National Trust. Best to have a car or bikes. Local taxi will take you in and out of Strangford (3 miles), Downpatrick (6miles) or even the airport(35miles). One bus per day into Downpatrick, with onward links to Belfast or Newcastle.
