17 Laigh isle is situated in a private cluster of chalets. The chalet over looks the sea, and has beautiful coastal scenery which is only a short walk away. The chalet has a spacious garden with a picnic table and patio doors off the living room. The chalet has recently been refurbished and has a more modern feel about it, we have installed BT WiFi, and a smart tv for your enjoyment. There are two bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with all modern appliances including washer/dryer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and kettle. It also has a tiled bathroom with shower and shaver point. You would be booking the whole chalet. The property and development is dog friendly, as is the nearby restaurant and cafe.
I very much enjoy preparing the chalet for guests, and love my job. We welcome families and couples and want your stay with us the be relaxing and enjoyable.
17 Laigh Isle is a charming little property in a peaceful little harbour village on the south coast of Scotland. The village has a community hall, PO, shop, cafe and a hotel/restaurant on the harbour side. Right on our doorstep we have beautiful coastal paths and numerous walks, bird watching, fishing, gold courses and areas of interest. These include Whithorn Priory, one of Scotland’s earliest Christian sites which is now a popular visitor attraction and museum. We also have St Ninians Cave, said to be a seaside cave which served as a hideaway for a Christian Saint. It attracts visitors on pilgrimage annually in August. There are a variety of beaches in the area, we are not far from Newton Stewart which is the Gateway to the Galloway Hills for those who love a day out in the hills. Scotland’s National Book Town, Wigtown, is also on the doorstep. Here you will find a plethora of lovely little bookshops sure to keep your lust for reading satisfied. All in all the area of Isle Of Whithorn will be sure to delight anyone looking for an interesting and peaceful getaway.
