Situated on the banks of the River Dulas and overlooking the wooded slopes of the Dovey Forest, this old slate quarrying village is perfect for mountain biking enthusiasts. The village boasts a village pub and is directly opposite the well-known mountain biking Cli-machX run, as well as the famous Coed-y-Brenin Mountain Bike Centre being nearby. The village also offers the historic Corris narrow gauge railway, an excellent craft centre, the Corris slate mining Explorers centre and the exciting King Arthurs Labyrinth Underground Experience, along with interesting local walks that abound. Discover The Tarrens, probably the best ridge walk in Wales as well as the wonderful mountains of Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy which are both close by.
