The propertty is over 160 years old. The downstairs double room has its own entrance, spacious bathroom, walk-in robe and seating area. The ceilings however are quite low and for somebody over 6ft tall it may be a problem. The room would have been used as kitchens and servants area in the old days but is now a lovely, warm, cosy room with a lot of character, Our single room is on the 1st floor, has a small double bed, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and overlooks the garden. The bathroom is 2 steps outside the bedroom and it is completey private as there are no other guest rooms on that floor. Bathrobes and slippers are provided for your comfort. Dogs are allowed (maximum 2 small dogs) and charges will apply. Please contact us for information. Please note that parking is only on-street parking but is directly across the road from the house and is quite safe. If you need to leave your car for any length of time i.e. whilst you take the bus to Canterbury for example, there are time limits during the day but we can point out to you parking elsewhere (close by) where there are no restriction
We are situated close to the town centre and 5 minutes by car to the ferry port and cruise terminal. We are surrounded by restaurants, pubs, takeaways and coffee shops. Walking distance to the Castle but it is quite a steep hill to climb. You can also walk to the White Cliffs if you are feeling energetic. Parking is free but is on-street parking only across the road from the property.
