Hi. I am Cathy. I designed this house specially to appeal to the holiday rental market. We want our guests to enjoy all the comforts of home, whilst discovering all that Cardiff has to offer. When not working on the next rental project we love to walk our dogs or go travelling. We also keep bees and sell local honey! We lived in Cardiff for many years so if you want to know the best places to visit just ask.
The property is on a residential street with hardly any traffic. There is a bike rental station (Next Bike) at the end of the street and Cardiff has miles of cycle paths for you to explore in safety. There are lots of quality local restaurants to be found in Wellfield Rd/Albany Rd. If you are after something a little different why not try afternoon tea at the Waterloo Tea house which is just a short stroll through the park, and now also has a second branch on Wellfield Rd. Cardiff also has a large boating lake, Roath Park Lake which makes for a pleasant stroll through all the connected parks. Start at Waterloo Gardens and walk all the way down to the boating lake and playground at Roath Park Pleasure Gardens, stopping for coffee at the many cafes enroute. If you want to go a little further afield try the regenerated Cardiff Bay, now a major tourist attraction, which is a short taxi or bike ride away and includes the Dr Who visitor centre and a plethora of restaurants and bars. You can even walk across the barrage to Penarth Marina and stroll around all the yachts in the dock or dine in one of the waterside restaurants. Penarth is a quaint Victorian seaside town that visitors love.
