West Kilbride rests alongside the Firth of Clyde on the west coast of North Ayrshire, overlooking the Isle of Arran. Just over four miles away is Ardrossan, a historic port town on the north side of Irvine Bay, boasting two wonderful beaches and popular with sailing enthusiasts. Known as the gateway to the Isle of Arran, from here you can jump on a boat and explore the diverse landscape of mountains, forest and sheltered beaches. Slightly further afield is the historic Kilmarnock, with charming cobbled streets, Victorian architecture and an extensive history. West Kilbride is well placed for discovering the North Ayrshire coast.
