This lovely terraced house was originally built for workers at the local anthracite mine. It has been fully renovated and offers all modern conveniences. There is a comfortable seating and dining area with TV, Freeview and free WiFi. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and plenty of storage. The smaller room has bunks with adult mattress. Fully and thoughtfully equipped kitchen with a large downstairs bathroom. The garden is enclosed making it safe for children and pets. There is a terraced seating area with BBQ and secure bike/sports equipment storage and off road parking. The garden leads out onto a grassed recreation area. We welcome children of all ages and pets. Staying at 94 High Street means that you can do lots of things without having to drive, though it is also well placed to explore West Wales being close to the A48 and A40
We are passionate about this part of Wales and love to get out and about as often as we can to enjoy everything that Carmarthenshire has to offer with our 2 young children and dog. We love welcoming people from all over the world and we are happy to be on hand to recommend some of our favourite places if needed.
Tumble is a very friendly village with shops 5 minutes walk from the door, convenience store, butchers with greengrocers and cakes, chemist, bank and cash point. A fab fish and chip shop, Chinese and Indian take away and a cafe. The old railway line that took the anthracite to Llanelli has been converted to a cycle/ footpath. 12 mile to Llanelli with stunning views over Gwendreath Valley and access to the Millennium Coastal Path. The 270 acre Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park is also only 5 minutes walk from the front door. Nearest beach 10 miles and Pembrey Country Park 13 miles. The Wetland Centre at Llanelli is 11 miles away a fantastic day out for all ages. Worth mentioning free bike hire on-site.
