In the heart of Dundee, a 3-minute walk from central train station and just 1-minute walk to popular tourist attractions such as the V&A Dundee, Slessor Gardens and the Caird Hall, Aabalree Guesthouse is located midway up Union Street, which features popular bars and restaurants.

Most rooms have wash basins and are spread over 3 upper floors of a traditional 100-year-old Scottish tenement building. Bathrooms and shower rooms are shared.

For breakfast, guests can first help yourselves to a selection of cereals, tea/coffee, orange juice, then either have a Scottish or vegetarian breakfast, or homemade pancakes or waffles.

Local attractions include Discovery, Verdant Works, HMS Unicorn and The McManus Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum, which are all within walking distance.

We offer bed & breakfast or room only accommodation in our city centre guesthouse. Rooms are spread over 3 upper floors and 10 of 14 have their own wash basin. Please note, there is no lift, however, we have free to use lockers at ground level (bring your own padlock). Toilets and shower rooms are shared. Soap, towels, hairdryers and iron/boards supplied. If you're choosing an attic room, you'll be on the 4th floor and toilets/shower rooms will be down stairs. Communal microwaves and fridges and eating areas/tableware in your room, dish wash at all sinks. Shared facilities are regularly serviced and anti-bac/cleaning products are supplied so you can stay fresh and feel relaxed throughout. Pay as you go breakfast (kids under 10 eat free) Served between 8 & 10am daily, prior arrangement. A selection of cereals, teas, fairtrade filter coffee, orange juice, ask for porridge. Freshly cooked Scottish/Veggie/Vegan breakfast, or Homemade Pancakes with fruit & cream Pre-orders are welcome & help with our sustainability goals. Dundee is a great City for exploring t, with amazing walks along the Riverside & up the extinct volcano, Law Hill. Here you can take in panoramic views of the City & beyond. From Aabalrees front door you can look North to see the Law & South to the V&A and Riverside. As well as the new V&A, visitors can also enjoy the Discovery, Verdant Works, Frigate Unicorn and McManus Museums, which are all within walking distance. Dundee claims two things, One, {which we can't promise} is that it's the sunniest city in Scotland and Two, The New Gateway to the Scottish Highlands. That, we can assure you is not one to miss. Transport-wise; the train station, bus stops and taxi ranks all within a minutes walk & provide good connections to neighboring city & town attractions such as Broughty Ferry, St Andrews & Perth.
