Originally for Seahouses Northumberland. Moved to Keswick in 2007, using my skills honed in my previous employment with the RAF at Boulmer as a civilian Mess Manager for 22 years. Responsible for the overall running of the facility. Received AOC’s (Air Officer Commanding) Commendation. In the 1998 New Year’s Honours List I Enjoy Digital Photography & Hill Walking. I now live in the right place.

Abacourt House is also the perfect place for exploring the Lake District, with spectacular walks to Castlerigg Stone Circle to discover the stones constructed in approximately 3200 BC, or why not take a trip across Derwentwater, ascending up Catbells, a very popular and achievable walk for all ages and abilities. These are two of many walks that begin in Keswick. I can give you ideas of were to walk and things to look out for, we have guide books and maps you can borrow.
