We are lucky enough to live in this wonderful 17th century listed property which is our family home as well as our business. Our guests are able to use all the amenities including the Tea Rooms, comfortable guest lobby and the beautiful landscaped gardens/patio/ornamental fish pond, offering more freedom and personal space to enjoy.

Coming from a hotel and catering background we have found our niche here in Abbotsbury allowing us to enjoy our main hobby which is walking- we plan to walk the South West Coastal Path eventually. It might take as 20 years at the rate we are going!

Abbotsbury has something for everyone of all ages. The scenery is truly awesome with many coastal and countryside walks. Then there is the abundant local history. The whole village is a conservation area, The Abbey, St Catherine's Chapel and the Tithe Barn date from the 13th Century. For days out you can't beat the Swannery, The Subtropical Gardens and The Childrens Farm. Then there is also the Iron age Hill Fort, Hardy's Monument, The Neolithic valley of the Stones, The historic county town of Dorchester and the seaside resorts of Westbay(Broadchurch) and Lyme Regis to name but a few.
