It's a listed building, and it still has it original floor tiles in the hall way, cornice work, pillars, fireplaces, and roll top bath! Over the years it has undergone many incarnations. Currently it is part residential rented property and part guest accommodation. The location is perfect for a stay in a Victorian Seaside Town on the Welsh Coast!

Castle Rooms is situated in the heart of old Aberystwyth beside Aberystwyth Castle, St Michaels Church and 'The old College' (The first incarnation of Aberystwyth University). The harbour is very close by, the streets are narrow, and there's an old feel about this end of town. Street parking is free and mainly unlimited, during peak times it's busy, so allow a little time to find a space. St Michael's Church have a charged carpark. There is also charged parking by the harbour. If you're prepared for a 5-10 min walk there is long stay charged parking.
