Winner of this website's 'Traveller Review Award 2021' - based on customer reviews. Delightful, purpose-built (finished May 2019) self-contained annex flat within the New Forest National Park. Beautifully decorated, solid oak beams and very high-quality fixtures & fittings. Off-road parking leads to courtyard and own front door. Fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar, light & bright sitting area with double French windows on to courtyard. High-ceilinged bedroom with features of oak beam and gable window (plus 2 other windows) leading to large, modern shower room. Stunning! Brand new, super-comfy Hypnos Deluxe king-sized bed and anti-allergy pillows. All new, high-quality furniture throughout (with exception of solid wood coffee table!).

Following the completion of Addendum in June 2019, we started hosting on a limited scale that summer. It was so enjoyable and successful that despite the Covid restrictions, once we were allowed to reopen in 2020 we were fully booked throughout that summer and even won a Traveller Review Award from the comments & experiences of our guests. So that's been very exciting and rewarding. Our policy is to personally meet each guest and then leave you in peace to enjoy your holiday - unless of course you would like local information or help, in which case we're only too happy to share our local knowledge. Ashurst village is in the beautiful & historic New Forest National Park. It has three pubs, three takeaways, two cafes and a convenience store. Lyndhurst, the 'capital of the New Forest' is a 5-minute drive away. We're just a few minutes walk/cycle from Ashurst New Forest railway station with regular trains from/to London and to Bournemouth/Dorset in the opposite direction, so ideal for those of you who want to bring your bike and/or walking boots for a really relaxing car-free break. We are also on a main bus route either into Southampton or alternatively through the New Forest to Lymington. Ashurst has designated National Park walking/cycle tracks that wind through the New Forest just behind the house. You can walk/cycle for miles!
