Alba House

Alba House has a quiet location less than 2 miles from Edinburgh Waverley rail Station. A number of local buses run regularly from the stop outside the guest house.

The house was built in about 1860 and the large rooms mix original features with modern comforts. The individually decorated en suite rooms have central heating, TVs, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, coffee tables, armchairs and tea/coffee.

Alba House is family run and prides itself on offering a traditional warm Scottish welcome and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere.

The Gallagher family has been welcoming guests from all over the world to their family home for the last twenty five years. As locals, we know a bit about Edinburgh and are happy to share this knowledge with guests, old and new.
