The Albyn Townhouse is a generous 4-storey, 19th-century traditional town house. Decorated to high standard and much loved by your host, Albyn is a heaven of calm & peace in a leafy cul-de-sac in Bruntsfield. We are just 20 minutesâ walk from Edinburgh Medieval City. All rooms at The Albyn offer flat-screen TVs, free and fast business Wi-Fi, and the option of king-size beds in all rooms. Toiletries, hairdryers, tea facilities, coffee pod machines & mini safes are all on offer in your room. Edinburgh’s Haymarket Rail Station is 20 minutes’ walk away.The centre of Edinburgh, along with the famed Royal Mile and Edinburgh's Old Town, is less than 20 minutesâ walk away, or 10 minutes by bus. Private gated car park at an extra fee is available.
The Albyn Townhouse is a gorgeous historic building dating from early 1890's, a portion of it is our family home and offers traditional & beautiful room accommodation. The rooms are decorated & furnished by myself. The Albyn is located in an amazing & cosmopolitan area of Bruntsfield, 20 min from the Old city. Not a walker? Edinburgh is built on 7 hills! it is not for the faint hearted. Please bear this fact in mind when booking with me & also the fact that we are not a hotel and therefore do not offer the same facilities. We have teamed with the amazing restaurants available in Bruntsfield for you to have breakfast, let me know and i can reserve for you. Alternatively you can order a breakfast basket in advance, at an extra fee. Remember! no elevator, the Albyn is a Victorian Manse within a 4-storey, 19th-century traditional town house. Beware of heavy luggage, due to illness I am unable to carry heavy luggage for you.
The Albyn is gorgeous & our home, we like our team to be part of our family, so our staff is dedicated & follows the same philosophy as us! We are a small family with three kids, 1 dog & a lot of customers to take care of. Our B&B is very much decorated at our image, we are a team of makers! so we have decorated and crafted a lot of the features & soft furnishings you will find at the Albyn. Our favourite things to do?; Our city!! in the largest sense possible...we love everything about it, we walk it, visit it & I paint it!! We love cooking & baking as a family & eating local food, go to the Stockbridge market every week-end, roll as many hills as we can with the kids on the Meadows & make wishes with as many dandelions as we can find!! We look forward to meeting you soon!
Brunstfield is a lovely quarter away from the hustle & bustle of the city but yet with many independents shops and restaurants just 2 minutes walk from us! We are located 20 minutes walk to the Old city.
