We opened Alcuin Lodge in 2012 because we love having people to stay. Having met people from all walks of life from all over the world, we're still loving it just as much.
Alcuin Lodge is set in a quiet residential area and is a very short walk to the centre of the city. We're also in easy walking distance of the station. To walk from Alcuin Lodge to the city's attractions you can choose either to stroll along the river side, walk through the beautiful Museum Gardens or along the handsome main street called Bootham (past the birthplace of W.H. Auden and the home of Joseph Rowntree),
