Hi, I am Jeannette. We own and run Allanton Mill Cottage along with my husband Nigel. I love this opportunity to welcome guests from around the world to our pleasant and friendly area of Scotland. It's a beautiful area all year round with many thing to do and see. Its especially for those who enjoy the outdoor life with hill walking, golf, shooting, fishing or if you just fancy 7 days relaxation by the fire and reading that's definitely possible too.

Set within a small hamlet of Auldgirth there are only 7 houses and we live in an extremely beautiful and rural location on top of a hill, so good views of local countryside. The nearest towns of Dumfries (south) and Thornhill (north) are only 8 and 6 mile away from the cottage.
