It also shows the cabins idyllic location in the tree canopy of the ancient valley descending from Westbourne to the blue flag beach at Alum Chine, Bournemouth. Due to its unique location in one of Dorset's more exclusive holiday destinations and within Bournemouth's wildlife conservation area, the planning stage for this new build cabin took over 12 months. From design to its final build took 2 years. It has a thick log construction giving it a solid feel, its set carefully into the canopy of trees & blends into its natural surroundings, preparing you for a dreamy, easy and comfortable holiday. The cabin boasts all the modern amenities of a new home; a full kitchen and utensils, a full-length bath/shower, a mezzanine floor with media centre, and a dining area with double doors opening outside onto a sun terrace that cantilevers over the Chine, giving magnificent views and a feeling of living in a treehouse.

My wife Ellen and I host the cabin, we set about making a place which affords couples and families all the benefits of being just minutes from everything; beach, Bournemouth, supermarkets. We have children of our own and understand the limitations of hotels and apartments. The cabin is somewhere special, its vaulted ceilings give it a unique spacious feel and its lofty position afford it a sense of adventure, but it’s at night when it comes into its own, submersing guests in natural tranquillity and peace, allowing you time to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine & listen to the wildlife, whilst your children camp out on the mezzanine dreaming of their day at the beach. With our professional cleaners and laundry service we achieve a standard of cleanliness that you can depend upon and time and again our guests’ feedback at their delight with the cabins presentation. We live in a wonderful community called Westbourne, its in the middle of Bournemouth and Poole and is fortunately situated very close to Alum chine beach (5 minutes). Its not as busy as Bournemouth town and this means you have modest tourist trade within this salubrious residential area. Westbourne is a lovely Victorian town with quaint features. Its full of trendy bars, wine and gin tasting restaurants, boutique shops, with lots of coffee shops. Alum Chine beach is voted the best beach in Bournemouth, its has a lifeguard station manned throughout the spring and summer months. There are plenty of beach shops, restaurants, pubs and coastal walks.
