Around the corner from Anster Neuk is a children's playground and football park. Anstruther is the largest of six pretty coastal fishing villages along the East Neuk. Shops, bars, eateries are all in walking distance, along with the beautiful sandy Billow Ness beach which is perfect for fishing, sailing and swimming (if you're brave enough!) A special mention needs to go to the award winning Anstruther Fish Bar, which is reputed to have served many famous visitors, including Tom Hanks. The coastal walking route from Anstruther to Crail is the most popular section of the Fife Coastal Path and definitely doesn't disappoint walkers and photographers alike. For the golfers amongst you, Anstruther Golf course is right on your doorstep, as is St Andrew's world-famous course!
