Cockerel Cottage is located in a beautiful rural setting and is a perfect base for your Welsh adventure. Ideally situated on the edge of Llanllwni (pronounced ‘Clan Clooney’) Mountain and Brechfa Forest. Sleeps 4-6, two bedrooms, two shower rooms (1 wet room). Easy access throughout. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. Also available is a secure area for bikes or canoes.

We moved to our current Smallholding in Llanllwni (17 miles North of Carmarthen) in April 2018. We are originally from Dorset, where we also owned a Smallholding. We are both passionate about the Countryside and can often be found horse riding along the lanes and by-ways, close to our home. We have recently refurbished our holiday cottage to a high standard and have now opened our doors to holiday makers who wish to explore the beautiful sights and attractions that are local to our part of West Wales. We are situated in a rural setting, Yet only a mile to the nearest pub offering fine dining. An old Drovers route runs past the house leading to Llanllwni Mountain and beyond; ideal for mountain biking, horse riding and walking. Only 30 minutes to Dolphin filled bays and beautiful beaches. Guests will required to make their own transportation requirements. We are located one mile off of the main Carmarthen to Lampeter road. There is a regular bus route to Carmarthen and Lampeter with an accessible bus stop.
