Information about the host

Argyll House which was built around 1900 was previously a bed and breakfast during the war. We have recently purchased the building after running a guest house in the village of Dunvegan for the last 12 years. The building is on its plot of land overlooking Roag Pool and Loch Vatten.

Nicky and I are originally from Stockton-on-Tees moving to the Isle of Skye some 12 years ago. We both enjoy finding new places to look at on Skye along with photography and and on those dark clear nights, astronomy.

North West Skye has some very popular landmarks within easy reach of Argyll House. Neist Point Lighthouse, Coral Beaches and Dunvegan Castle to name a few. With an abundance of wildlife to watch and photograph.
