Aberaeron's harbour lies at the centre of this Welsh seaside town, the jewel in the crown of the whole of Cardigan Bay. Arosfa Harbourside Guest House has the most perfect setting from which to enjoy your stay in this gorgeous little town being on the harbourside but in a sheltered spot with all of the town's amenities so close at hand. Fashion and craft shops, cafes and restaurants, harbour, riverside and cliff walks are all around, just take your pick. We are fortunate to share this delightful unspoilt Georgian setting with an onsite Restaurant where Evening meals are served and you may enjoy a Welsh Breakfast between 8.00am and 9.30 am.( Please reserve a table with the restaurant for evening meals as it is a popular venue with local people.) The property was originally a house and a provisions store built by the same family from nearby Cardigan in the middle of the 1850's when there was a boom in the town which had first seen building on the northern "Liverpool" side of the harbour at the beginning of the 19th century. Arosfa is a modern well equipped venue which still retains it's charming elegance from that time which has been lost in so many places.
I am so lucky to live where I do, in Arosfa which is on the Coastal Path as it winds around the harbour in the centre of Aberaeron. I love walking and could not be anywhere better. I try to get out most days in all weathers even if only for half an hour and from Arosfa you can follow the path out of town choosing to go either north or south or even follow the path up the River Aeron valley. There are so many interesting places to visit within such a short distance either walking or in the car if you are going a little further afield.
