This cute and homely cottage retains traditional character with all the modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home. The home is child friendly but there are no locks on cupboards or stair gate.**Please advise us of the number and ages of children, so that we can set up the folding beds.** Please also advise of number of dogs accompanying you. The maximum is 2 dogs, not allowed on furniture. As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer and a microwave. The cottage offers TV, basic Sky channels, and high speed broadband. The dining area is in a lovely garden room, which is adjacent to the spacious and well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a large private garden with plenty of space for children and dogs. Off street parking space for three cars. This cottage has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 8 people with an additional 2 children on single folding beds, one in each of the kingsize or superkingsize bedrooms. Linen and towels are included. There are 2 bathrooms. One downstairs (bath) and the other is upstairs (shower).

This cosy cottage is located in the small, peaceful Highland town of Newtonmore. We are opposite the primary school just after the opening for Golf Course Rd. Newtonmore is the exact epicentre of Scotland, nestled in the Cairngorm National Park, surrounded by equally epic scenery. A small grocery store is a few minutes walk away, and the town has a beautiful golf course, tennis and bowling clubs, 3 pubs, 6 restaurants, 2 cafes, a barber, and two gift shops, a cycle repair shop. The main line railway station is a 15 minute walk, and the Wildcat trail attracts many visitors. The famous Highland Wildlife Zoo is a 15 minute drive away.
