Aviedale Bed and Breakfast provides comfortable accommodation for those wanting to visit Orkney, we have large rooms with 100% cotton bedlinen and large ensuite bathrooms. The house has wonderful views sea views of Kirkwall bay. viedale Cottage is close to many of Orkneys historical sites as well as wonderful beaches and places to spot wildlife. There is a large breakfast room with sea views where you can enjoy a fresh local full Scottish breakfast as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals. Aviedeale Cottage offers two bedroom units with spacious rooms all enjoying wonderful views. The St Ola suite is on the first floor with two double bedrooms - one king and one super king and a shared private toilet and shower room. These rooms are idea for families or friends travelling together, and have wonderful sea views. Earl Thorfinn is a super king size room on the ground floor. There is a wonderful ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and sea views from the bedroom window. Each room has a flat screen TV, hair dryer and hot drink making facilities. Aviedale Cottage is in the village of Rendall approximately 13 miles from Kirkwall and 16 miles from Stromness, on the west mainland of Orkney. Close to the local historical sites as well a lovely beaches for walking and exploring. Orkney is a very accessible island with good roads and public transport, there are regular ferry's to the other islands where there is even more to explore. Aviedale Cottage is close to the Tingwall ferry terminal which offers a route to Rousay an island with many historical sites well worth a visit.
