Baker's Gallery is a characterful, duplex apartment situated above The Bake House in the heart of Salcombe. It boasts three first floor bedrooms; a super king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request), another super king-size double and a children's bunk room, sleeping six people altogether. There is also bathroom, a second floor open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area and a first floor games room. To the outside is an enclosed deck/patio with artificial lawn. Baker's Gallery awaits the perfect getaway to South Devon. The bakery opens at 7.30am and closes at 10.30pm. During peak times, one baker starts the morning shift at 6am but the only noise that might be heard at that time is an extractor fan being switched on when the doughnuts are being cooked! The fan on the balcony is for the freezer in the bakery and cannot be turned off. There is a delivery at 11pm. Every effort is made to ensure that this delivery does not run later than 11pm and that the noise is kept to a minimum.
Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea, boasting two beaches, North Sands and South Sands. The National Trust property Overbeck’s is not to be missed and for a more adventurous day try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing and kayaking. Enjoy the locally sources seafood and fantastic walks along the South West Coast path.
