The garden is communal, it is a shared facility. There is a courtyard outside the back door with steps leading up to lawn area. Please be mindful when letting your dogs outside in the area.

Glossop has a wealth of history on offer. Built in the mist of the Industrial Revolution. Glossop people Have inherited an abundance of historial buildings from It’s working past, places of interest that we know now, such as Woods (Victorian) Baths, which stands in Howard park. Glossop Train station, Partington Theatre (Henry Street). Manor park (home of Lord Howard) Town Hall/market hall were all built in Victorian times. The cotton factories were built here because of its unique damp climate and they have now been adapted to the present day needs of Glossop people. The 18 hole golf course which was built by lord Howard and is situated at the bottom of the Snake Pass also boasts a bar and restaurant with a beautiful lawned outlook. A short car ride out to Kinder Scout from here was the site of the famous ‘Kinder Scout mass trespass’. Where hundreds of factory workers amongst others congregated from Sheffield and Manchester to successfully protest against the closure of access to walkers of the hills in the Peaks which is the reason why today we in the UK have unhindered access across private land.
