Information about the host

Barton gate farm is a very unique farm, as its unlike most working farms. Here we try to keep all areas clean and tidy. with large tarmac areas. We have quite a few ducks and geese walking around, who are always eager to be fed also a large pond with allot of goldfish and Koi carp to be seen and fed. We are usually always on site and are keen to make your stay with us an enjoyable one.

We are a small friendly family and enjoy farm life here in Devon and Cornwall. We enjoy playing pool (all the boys play allot and even Mum as well sometimes) ping-pong, darts, DIY!! driving the many machines on site (diggers,dumpers,lawnmowers,skateboards,bikes, scramblers/motorcross etc etc). In addition we love most things with engines especially cars, bikes. Also fishing is great around us which we enjoy, with literally loads to visit locally, both freshwater and seawater. On site in the future will hopefully be a fishing lake, if i ever get the time off DIY!!!. + a small motor cross track is partially finished. Always someone will chat away (if wanted) to you, over a coffee in our newly built orangery/conservatory or snug room. Or just chill out overlooking our pond area with a book or paper. Hopefully you will stay with us soon??

There are plenty of things to do both on and offsite locally. The Beach @ Bude is just a few minutes away, as are some other great not so well known beaches.All are ready to be explored. There are plenty of pubs and eateries locally, but the nearest famous burger franchise is over 45 mins away!!! but local fish and chips are better anyway!!. There are some of the Best and unspoilt small villages close by and some of the best driving roads in the country. Yes even in summer they can still be enjoyed!! Hopefully you will stay with us soon??
