We are a quiet one room guest house seconds from the beach. The twin room has a large bathroom with walk in Electric shower and separate bath. The guest room has it's own private front entrance and the room enjoys lovely uninterrupted views of the sea from the guest room window.Edinburgh is a 30 min bus ride or 8 mins by train. Our property is situated away from the noise of traffic and therefore you can have a peaceful night sleep and awake to the comforting lull of the sea on the shoreline. For cyclists, we offer a locked garage for bicycles and equipment. There are many restaurants/take away food outlets within a 15 min walk and a Lidl or Aldi supermarket within a 10 min walk. There is a large retail park 15 min drive away that hosts many shops and a cinema. You can walk along the beach to the harbour or alternatively take a woodland stroll just minutes from the Guest House.

We love to watch the lovely sunsets over the Firth of Forth in the summer or the dramatic seas crashing on the beach during winter. We never tire of waking up to the sound of the sea first thing In the morning. We would like our guests to enjoy a quiet relaxing time listening to the sea whilst enjoying a short walk to the harbour.

There are many local restaurant's/café's within walking distance and an out of town shopping centre with cinema just 10 mins drive away.Musselburgh also boasts it's own Theatre showing many shows throughout the year and also it's own racecourse. If walking is one of your hobbies, Musselburgh provides ideal coastal or river walks for all whether it is a short stroll or something more challenging. It is a 30 - 40 minute bus ride into Edinburgh at a very reasonable cost with frequent buses every 5 - 10 minutes.
