Situated in a quiet cul de sac adjacent to Dalfaber Golf & Country Club, Birchlands is a modern, detached property with private landscaped front and back gardens. Set back from the road, it has easy access private parking right at the front door. Birchlands is a leisurely 15 minutes walk, via a dedicated path and cycle track, from the centre of Aviemore. Located in the heart of the Cairngorms there is majestic and beautiful scenery right on its doorstep. Birchlands is decorated in a contemporary fashion with a cosy living room with a smart TV, a walk through dining room with patio doors to the private back lawn with outside seating area. The modern kitchen is stocked with all appliances and accessories and includes a separate utility area with dishwasher and washing machine and a downstairs toilet. Upstairs the master bedroom is en suite. There is also a newly renovated family bathroom, a further double room and a spacious twin room. The house benefits from a newly installed energy efficient heating system, ensuring comfort throughout the house. Birchlands is very much a home from home!

Aviemore itself provides everything you need for your stay - shops, restaurants, supermarkets, takeaways, pubs and entertainment. There is also a working steam railway and a local brewery if either of these take your fancy! We love that Aviemore is located in the heart of the Cairngorms, surrounded by snowcapped mountains, with forest, rivers and nature all around. It is close to Inverness for a city trip but maintains its own special holiday resort atmosphere that we really like. As active and outdoorsy types we have enjoyed many of the exciting activities available in this region. We also really enjoy the calmness, serenity and beauty that can be found when we venture into the national park. We really think this is a wonderful and special place. We have such good times in Aviemore and we really hope that you do too, and that you want to come back to Birchlands again and again!

Aviemore and the Cairngorms have so much to offer. The natural surroundings are breath-taking and there are activities for every age and ability. The Rothiemurchus estate offers horse riding, archery, Treezone, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, meet the reindeers and many other pursuits. There is the Zip Trek park at the Alvie estate and the Highland Wildlife Park in nearby Kingussie. Go Karting is available for any budding speed demons. For water lovers there is dinghy sailing, paddle boarding and all sorts of water sports at Loch Morlich and at the Loch Insh Outdoor Centre. For those of you who love skiing, snowboarding and snowy activities the Cairngorms ski centre is at your disposal for the winter season. We also really enjoy the more relaxed things on offer. It is fantastic to explore the national park trails. The surroundings are stunning - a natural environment that we don’t experience in our usual city life. A picnic or BBQ on the sands at Loch Morlich, weather permitting, is a great day out too. Within an hours drive there is also Culloden, Inverness city, the Moray coast with beautiful beaches. History buffs might be keen to visit the famous Cawdor Castle. It's great!
