Along with my wife, Lisa, I own The Birchover Residences. We are passionate about creating special memories for guests and staff alike - it's a way of being that has served us very well over the years and we bring that expertise to this most grand of properties at Bridgford Hall. The Birchover Residences have a fantastic reputation for quality decor and exceptional customer service. One of our other hotels was ranked 22nd in the UK of all hotels (over 3,300) on Trip Advisor in 2015. In the same year, we were also named best small hotel company to work for in the UK at the Caterer Hospitality Awards.
The Birchover Residences Bridgford Hall is the jewel in our crown. Situated within Bridgford Park, our luxury apartment-hotel has 7 spacious suites which are beautifully-furnished. We have a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites - all with fully-equipped kitchens, comfortable lounges and magnificent bathrooms. We are proud of our association with West Bridgford and to be the custodians of this fine Hall. Prior to opening in May 2017, we consulted with the local community in the naming of the 7 suites. The building and area have a wonderful heritage and the names reflect the history and importance of the property. Lord Byron once coveted the young lady of the house and wrote love letters to her, so Byron is recognised in one suite. A lady called Millicent once won the Hall in a game of cards, so it would be remiss not to honour her! And local families Cook and Holmes told us of the strong connections that their parents and grandparents had with Bridgford Hall and the local community. We are proud and honoured to remember them and hope you enjoy staying in this magnificent building.
West Bridgford is simply one of the best places to visit in the country if you want a relaxed break. The upmarket shops, bars and restaurants along Central Avenue make it a great place to be. You can shop in Oliver Bonas, Marks and Spencer food and a range of local boutiques. We have too many great restaurants to name just one favourite, but the likes of Gusto, Cote Brasserie, Escabeche, Yumacha and Carluccio's mean you can while away a weekend here without venturing more than a 5 minute walk from The Residences. On our ground floor, there are two wedding ceremony rooms. You may be staying for your own wedding - and if not, you can join the many people who picnic in the park watching up to 17 wedding parties per day. The landscaped park also features tennis courts and a great children's play area. Trent Bridge cricket ground is a 5 minute walk and the floodlights are easily visible from several of our suites. Similarly, Nottingham Forest and Notts County are within a 10 minute walk and the Motorpoint Arena (for ice hockey and major acts), Royal Concert Hall, Royal Theatre and Playhouse are a 10 minute taxi ride.
