Birdsgrove House is a Grade II-listed mansion, nestling on the cusp of the beautiful Peak District Country Park. Set in 12 acres of stunning gardens to be explored at your leisure, the house also sits on the banks of the glorious River Dove. You can also enjoy the house itself and make the most of the indulgent Clive Christian kitchen with good food and good company, followed by a stroll to the pub. Relax in front of the open fireplace which were made for family games and chat, or maybe the 2m TV projector with Sky and DVD perfect for popcorn and movie nights. On arrival, you are greeted by the large entrance hall, with open fire, sofas and large projector screen (hidden in the ceiling). From here you will find the snug, a cosy chill-out room with comfy couches and flat screen TV; the luxurious Drawing Room for some peace and quiet and also the traditional Dining Room . The kitchen has been tastefully decorated and designed for all your needs, including an island for preparation, all with marble worktops, an American style fridge/freezer and super functional Parry commercial stove and multi ring hob to cook your dishes in style.

My name is Kerry and myself and my Husband Ian, own Birdsgrove House. We fell in love with Birdsgrove and its charm and splendid grounds immediately when we visited the house and we were fortunate enough to be in a position to buy it 2007. We spent a lot of time renovating it and finally opened our doors for business as an events venue in 2011. Since then we have worked really hard to make the house a warm, friendly and wonderful place to visit. Come here to have a break and get away from it all or let us organise a civil ceremony for you and use the house for a unique wedding experience, which can be made into a full weekend of celebration. The house is also perfect for parties, events and team building experiences. You can enjoy your time with us on a fully self-catered basis but full event management is also offered, to ensure that whatever the occasion, it runs smoothly, seamlessly and exactly the way you need it to.
