Welcome to Bishops Farm, our family run guest accommodation. It is a self-contained studio apartment in a former stable block, located at the edge of the village of Claverham, North Somerset. The light and airy accommodation is well furnished in a contemporary style and features a high ceiling with roof windows & beams. Minimum length of stay is two nights. The studio is self catering, sleeps two people and features a comfy super-king sized bed, living space, kitchen area and shower room. There is underfloor heating throughout. We have been awarded four AA stars. There are good places to eat, pubs and takeaways nearby. Public footpaths surround Bishops Farm with views over the Bristol Channel to Wales from nearby Cadbury Hill. We are approximately 5 miles from Bristol Airport and 2 miles from Yatton railway station. Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare are each 10 miles away. Buses for Bristol and Weston pass nearby. M5 Junction 20, Clevedon and M5 Junction 21 Weston-Super-Mare are easily accessible. Your host are Margaret & Alistair. Margaret is a retired pharmacist and Alistair a semi-retired electronic engineer. Margaret manages the studio accommodation. We bought Bishops Farm in 2006. At that time, the studio was a stable and the house was only partially converted from a barn to a dwelling. We undertook extensive renovations to finish up with what your see today. Rather than (under-)using the studio for our own occasional family & friends, in 2016 we decided to use it as a self-catering let. Betty, the dog, takes part in competitive agility but is languishing at grade 1 as her handler (Margaret) is not as agile as she is. NEWS 2019, now grade 3! Eth, the cat, is very shy and hates dogs, especially Betty. We are waiting eagerly for out three new hens, Sappho, Penelope and Bianca to start laying eggs.

Bishops Farm Studio is located at the edge of the village of Claverham, in the green belt. We are surrounded by apple orchards and fields used primarily for grazing sheep. There are good road links and we are on a bus route. There is a newsagent, a pub (no food) and restaurant and Chinese take-away within walking distance and other shops, pubs and restaurants & cinema a short drive away. We are within 5 miles of Bristol Airport.
