Bodiwan

A grade II listed building, Bodiwan bed and breakfast is located small market town of Bala. With free WiFi access, a hot tub and free on-site parking, the property is a 16-minute walk from Bala Adventure and Watersports and less than a mile from Penlan Clwe Golff Y Bala Golf Club.

Each room includes a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. There is also a private bathroom with either a shower or a bath. Extras include an outdoor seating area and bed linen.

At Bodiwan there is a garden. Other facilities offered at the property include water sports facilities, meeting facilities and luggage storage. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling, hiking and windsurfing.

Each morning a breakfast is available using fresh, local produce where possible.

From the property, National White Water Centre/ Canolfan Dŵr Gwyn Genedlaethol is 3.3 miles away and Snowdonia is 31.5 miles away.

Information about the host

Bodiwan has a lot of history about it and has appeared on TV a number of times. The original owner in the 1800's Michael D Jones was a minister and he facilitated people from Wales to go to Patagonia where there is a very strong welsh community today

Located in the town of Bala it is a nice walk to the local restaurants and we have some very picturesque walks from the house. Less than 2 minutes from the house we have a panoramic view of the Lake (Llyn Tegid)
