Information about the host

The property overlooks the River Inver with views across the village and towards the harbour from the sitting room. For directions: when you arrive in Lochinver via the main road, immediately cross an old fashioned bridge on your right, then drive up the hill past the church and take a left, you will see our sign, then take a left again down a steep hill, there is a red house on your left and Bonnie Haven on your right. If you arrive via the coastal road which is a single track road and very pretty if you have time, drive through the village past the shops and take a left over the old bridge and follow above directions. There are fuel pumps available in the village 24hrs.

When on holiday with my family I love to explore historical buildings, visit places of interest, take part in sports whether it be walking, climbing, rowing , kayaking etc , go out to eat and of course relax. I know local advice is often the best so if there is anything I can help you with please ask so I can make your stay more enjoyable. I would like you to feel at rest and at home at Bonnie Haven and hopefully you can meet my other guests, swap tips of the best places to visit and eat but most of all have a great stay.

Before arriving, as soon as possible, I would highly recommend booking a table in one our local restaurants as in the summer months they fill up very fast and it is possible you may not get a table. In the village there are several options including: Peets Restaurant, Lochinver Larder, Culag Hotel, Delilahs` (soon to be opened) ,Inver Lodge Hotel, An Cala Cafe or out of the village a half hours drive is the Kylesku Hotel or Ullapool an hours drive on the way to Lochinver.
