Bosworgy has been a family home since 1964. Our grandparents bought the site mesmerised by the uninterrupted views over Mounts Bay and the magical St Michael's Mount. Their daughter Rikki lives in the main house and her daughters Alessandra and Francesca run Bosworgy Bay. They are both artists and Alessandra's partner Sean did all the work from design and building to carpentry, electrics and plumbing. The clever design means the high ceilings and huge windows let in the light while the open-plan arrangement makes it feel spacious. It is an ideal space for 2 people with a large open space from which to enjoy the view from the sofa or pull back the sliding doors and sit on the deck in wonder! Even on wintery days you can watch the stormy seas with the comfort of underfloor heating. There is a double and a single sofa bed if you want to share the space with more people. Parking is conveniently outside the door so access is not an issue and there are 2 car spaces. There is a bus stop 50 metres from the property with regular buses to Penzance and Falmouth and connections to St Ives and Lands End.

We will always meet you and be on hand if you need anything. We want to share our special space perched above the sea overlooking St Michael’s Mount and know it will delight you whatever the weather. Bag the sofa and watch the waves crash and the skies go dark in winter; eat breakfast or sip sundowners on the balcony in summer. In this first year of business we have been thrilled to get such positive reviews with many people planning to return in future. We want to be able to share this unique location with you and know you will enjoy this special part of the world in any season.

Marazion throngs with tourists in the summer but it’s pretty magical year round. Its beach is safe and sandy, St Michaels Mount is worth a visit (you can walk over at low tide) and there are heaps of independent shops to browse. Mount Haven Hotel is a 2 minute walk for lunch and dinner or walk 10 minutes into Marazion for a selection of pubs and cafes. Follow the seafront and take a peek or a dip in Jubilee Pool in Penzance. Continue along the prom and check out Newlyn’s fish market or to Mousehole and walk along the picturesque coast path to Lamorna. St Ives with its picturesque harbour, Tate St Ives and stunning beaches is 20 minutes drive or a stunning train trip along the coast. Enjoy the Cornish Mining heritage, visit St Just & Geevor tin mine in Pendeen with its fabulous museum in the most atmospheric rugged landscape. For a mystic moment, tie a ribbon at Madron wishing well and head to see the ancient monument of Lanyon Quoit with Ding Dong mine on the moorland, walk to Men-an-Tol for a Bronze age experience and follow the road to meet Morvah along the heritage coast.
