Braeburn House is a large detached house with extensive grounds, set overlooking woodland and the Sidlaw Hills in the distance. The guest bedroom is a large, bright room with a seating area, looking out over the garden. You have tea & coffee making facilities in the room. The dining room has a couple of easy chairs, where you can relax and read. The garden is frequented by red squirrels and woodpeckers as well as many other birds.

We have recently moved from Leeds and enjoy the tranquillity of the area we now live in. There are good walks from Braeburn House, the Cateran trail is behind the house and the Den O Alyth ( a woodland walk alongside the burn) is at the front of the house. John is a Fire Safety Consultant and I work from home so we are around to chat and give information on the local area.

Braeburn House has plenty of things to do in the local area. The Cateran Trail, Alyth Bike Park, Den O Alyth are all on the doorstep. We have three golf courses with two miles and many more within an hours drive. Blairgowrie is five miles away, and easily accessible by bus or car. Glamis Castle is seven miles away and Balmoral Castle and Glenshee Ski centre within an hours drive. Dundee is twenty minutes by car, but the bus from Alyth runs to Dundee and Perth every hour. We are on the edge of the Cairngorm Mountain range and only an hour from Edinburgh. There are some great places to eat close by, Lands of Loyal, a five star hotel and restaurant is fifteen minutes walk from the house. There are cafes, pubs and takeaways in the village, including our award winning fish and chip shop. Alyth is well supplied with shops, including a Co Op so you have everything you need on your doorstep.
