The most exciting restaurants, cafés and bars in London are located in this neighbourhood. The area has a rich and fascinating history, which can be enjoyed through one of the walking tours available, The Jack the Ripper tour which is very popular. There is a flower market called Columbia Road Flower Market a short walk away every Sunday as well as food markets at weekends such as famous The Old Truman Brewery where you can find excellent food and vintage clothes and decor! The Spitalfields Market is 5min away and is one of the nicest markets in London and there are also nine other markets in the area, which are fascinating! You are also 20 minutes walk to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, these are very popular for a first time London visitor. You can actually get a boat from there to anywhere else on the river, which is our favorite sight!
