Celia and Jon found Hill House in Bridstow in 2012 and just loved the bright location near the atmospheric town of Ross on Wye. The house had been neglected over recent years and was a perfect place to renovate to create a comfortable, warm and relaxing place in which to establish a welcoming bed and breakfast business. Visitors to the house are always delighted by the spaciousness and brightness of the interior and the combination of Victorian character with modern-day standards of comfort. Celia has spent the last 15 years running her own corporate catering business and Jon has spent the whole of his career in the construction industry running his own design and build construction company for the last 15 years.

The countryside around Bridstow Guest House is peaceful and tranquil. There are many historic towns nearby such as Monmouth and Ledbury as well as many beautiful walks along the river Wye and surrounding countryside. The scenery around Symonds Yat is stunning and of course there are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area. There is fishing, cycling and kayaking in many locations.
