Large apartment with balcony - sleeps up to 6 Bright and sunny apartment with stunning views over Vauxhall City Farm and Spring Gardens from our large balcony you can watch the ponies whilst you enjoy a coffee on the balcony. 2 Bedrooms with 2 double beds & 2 single beds. Small kitchen and bathroom with shower. Ideal for families who want to be able to eat breakfast and some meals together. The balcony gives views over very large green space and the Vauxhall skyline - great contrast to London's lively streets.

We are Claire and Darren Millett & we live with our young family just on the outskirts of London in Surrey. We were both born and raised in South London & subsequently we are very familiar with the local area to the apartment (although it has certainly changed considerably over the years!). As well as commuting into London for work we also regularly jump on a train as a family to take advantage of London attractions so we're always happy to provide advice and suggestions how and where visitors can go when visiting. Claire started managing the rental side together in 2017 and we have been so pleased with how this has worked out with many happy guests enjoying the ideal location and facilities of the Vauxhall apartments.

Just minutes away from Vauxhall Cross (tube, train & bus station) & it’s location is hard to beat being near the Thames, opposite the Tate Britain & in walking distance of Waterloo & the South Bank. Famously by Vauxhall Bridge stands the central HQ of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6 as featured in James Bond films). Vauxhall is a mixed commercial & residential district of southwest London with shops & flats alongside gentrified terraced townhouses. The area is also a mixture of old & new with Embassy Gardens - London’s new ‘diplomatic precinct’ which is the new home to the US embassy & others. Whilst in the busy, urban heart of the city by way of contrast to the Kennington Lane on one side of the apartment building at the rear is a large green space where amongst other things you’ll find Vauxhall City Farm which is open daily & contains a range of animals including alpacas, sheep, goats & pigs - you can even go pony riding! It is a very ethnically diverse area & has a thriving gay village of underground clubs. More recently is being celebrated for “Voho chic” as Vauxhall is becoming London's hottest art district thanks to Damien Hirst & the Newport St Galleries.
