Hi I am Trevor Burr the owner of Brixham Harbour House. Welcome. Born in the landlocked midlands in 1957, I always enjoyed the many holidays I had by the sea with my parents. I have always dreamed of owning a property by the sea and being able to share the wonders of being by the coast with others. I am a railway enthusiast and have had the privilege of working for a railway company for 17 years. The many steam trains running around Torbay and south Devon area is a particular delight of mine, with each train having its own smell, sound and personality. I bought Brixham Harbour Views House with my friend Jan Wood who owns Brixham Harbour Views Apartments next door in July 2016 and am now the sole owner. This special house has been lovingly modernised and completely refurbished. Brixham Harbour Views is incredibly spacious, light, bright and airy with stunning sea views, views of the harbour, town and out over the hills of the South Hams. It has an amazing presence and is incredibly peaceful. Come to my secret place and enjoy the holiday of a lifetime in this very modern, private, quiet house with its magical welcoming atmosphere.
This house benefits from being on the level with outside private car parking, most unusual in Brixham, within a landscaped garden area. With most properties it is often difficult to find a space in the narrow and crowded streets resulting in having to walk long distances up hill or down hill with your luggage and shopping. The house is situated on a private and well maintained road, giving total privacy, quiet and tranquillity, with friendly, helpful and respectful neighbours. The house has double glazed windows running the full length of the living area giving the most amazing panoramic sea views, on a clear day you can see over to Lyme Regis in Dorset. There are also excellent views of the harbour, town and hill views of the South Hams. The first floor has amazing floor to ceiling patio doors across the entire front leading onto the large balcony with stunning views over the harbour, across the bay to Torquay and beyond, over the town to hills of the South Hams.. There is a large suntrap and extremely private back garden with many unusual plants, a large wall made out of local stone that looks medieval in origin. There is a large patio with garden furniture that seats 6.
