Hello from Dawn & Stacey. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

Windermere village is where the Windermere train station is. It is a busy little village with a good variety of local shops and eateries. Water-based activities and various fell walks are very popular, as well as the more challenging walks for the brave and adventurous. The Lake District is also equally suitable for visitors who just want to take a break, relax and wonder around the interesting local shops. Between Windermere and Bowness there are over 30 restaurants and cafes to choose from with tastes and prices to suit everyone. Lake Windermere is a short walk down the hill located by Bowness-on-Windermere. There are regular transport options available from the local buses to a range of taxi services. Ambleside is a wonderful busy village, with a variety of shops and activities, and can be accessed by car, boat or local bus service. Grasmere and even Keswick are also only a short journey away, accessible by the local bus service. In this beautiful part of the Lake District and in the surrounding areas, there is definitely something for everyone.
