I love Brook House, It was an empty, closed down ex shop when I bought it. I asked the architect to design the interior for holiday lets with a remit of as much light and space as possible. The result exceeded my expectations and Brook House is now the perfect place for a large or 3 generation family to take a holiday in such a superb part of the world. All my guests leave great feedback in the guest book and many return year after year. The downstairs bedroom, off road parking, proximity to the beach, and 4 en-suite bathrooms have all been highlighted as great reasons to choose Brook House
Hello my name is Kay Viney, owner along with my husband Blair of Brook House in Port Eynon, Gower. My interests are walking, playing golf, wildlife and my family. Gower is the perfect location for all of these. From days on the beach with our grandchildren to walking the spectacular cliffs to Rhossili, Oxwich, Mewslade and numerous other gorgeous bays with family, friends & dogs, to playing golf at Pennard Golf Club one of Wales's top clubs, Gower is hard to beat. Wild ponies roam freely in parts of Gower, there is an abundance of wildlife to be enjoyed, puffins, buzzards, seals, dolphins, otters, badgers, snakes , to name a few as well as all the interesting crabs and sea creatures found in the beach rock pools. I am always blown away by the beauty of the area, I help out as a volunteer for the National Trust and visit Rhossili often, every time I step out of the car and see the bay my reaction is WOW! It really is spectacular.
Location, Location, Location! Brook House is in the heart of Gower's largest village. There is plenty going on in the village from film club and yoga classes to water sports and boating. Eating out is on the doorstep with a busy local pub a few yards from Brook House to cafes and a traditional fish & chip shop by the sea. (some seasonal opening only) The cliff top walks from Brook House make Port Eynon a year round destination, the beaches and the area can be more beautiful in the winter months. The dark evenings are special, there is no light pollution in the area so the star lit nights are wonderful. The sunsets are superb as the sun drops down over Rhossili Down. Not far off the M4, Gower is a very accessible place to visit from anywhere along the M4 corridor.
