Bruan is a wonderfully presented cottage with an elevated position overlooking the harbour at Rothesay. To the outside is off-road parking for three cars and an enclosed back garden with a summer house. Bruan is a fabulous holiday home for large groups, on the Isle of Bute. The seaside town of Rothesay became very popular as a tourist destination in the Victorian era when many Glaswegians would go ‘doon the watter’ (down the River Clyde) and across on the ferry to Bute. Visit the castle ruins in the centre of town, enjoy the scenery with coastal walks or on one of the cycle routes around the island and visit Mount Stuart House. There are three golf courses on the island, as well as the relaxing Scalpsie Bay with views across to Arran.
