A charming Victorian house in Menai Bridge, Bryn Aethwy offers luxurious accommodation to Anglesey visitors. With impressive views over the Menai Strait, guests can enjoy a lounge with log fire. A communal balcony is also available for guests to use.
En suite rooms have a modern shower, or a free-standing bath in some cases. All have a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities, and some have a four-poster bed.
Bryn Aethwy has an elevated position with beautiful views over the gardens. It is located close to the Anglesey coastal path, a scenic route popular with walkers, anglers and photographers. Several restaurants can be found within walking distance and menus are available at the property.
On the south coast of Anglesey, Bryn Aethwy is close to the Welsh mainland, with the town of Bangor an 8-minute drive across the Strait. In the opposite direction, the island boasts more than 100 miles of scenic coastline, with a trip to Holyhead on the west coast taking around 25 minutes.
The owner of this Guest House, Elaine, has retired after delighting hundreds of guests with her lovely personality, amazing home, stunning views, and delicious breakfast. Her son and I are privileged to continue in her footsteps, but we are not able to continue serving breakfast. The dining room is open for guests' use (from 3 August), and we have added a small fridge with bottles of distilled and sparkling water, a fresh-bean coffee machine, a fruit bowl, and we will provide information about delicious local breakfast options.
