Nestled along the scenic coastline of Snowdonia, Bryn Mor Beach Hotel is a family-run B&B located in a quiet area in Dinas Dinlle. Just a short walk away from the pebbled beach, this pet-friendly property offers 9 en-suite rooms and an on-site restaurant and bar.
Each of the en suite rooms at Bryn Mor Beach Hotel features a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.
Every morning guests can enjoy a home-cooked freshly made breakfast, along with continental choices including cereals, fruits, yogurts, juices, pastries, tea and coffee. There is also an Indian breakfast choice that is optional, for an additional charge.
The property is around 11.8 miles from Snowdonia and within driving distance of many tourist attractions, such as Portmeirion and Welsh Highland Railway. The cobbled town square of Caernarfon and its Castle are also just 6.2 miles away and Caernarfon Airport is less than 1.2 miles away from Bryn Mor Beach Hotel.
This property was initially built and established as a RAF center for crew members, later converted into a nursing home and then finally into a bed and breakfast. The building has a story and historical roots in the town. It is set along the scenic and idyllic coast of Snowdonia in a quiet and picturesque village, located just a stone's throw from the beach and sea. Offering an unpretentious, relaxing and homely ambience, it makes you feel like you can forget your worries and busy lifestyle and make that special "me" time for yourself.
After travelling and living all across the globe from South Africa to Papua New Guinea, my father decided to leave the corporate world as a financial controller and instead settle in the peaceful and scenic surroundings of North Wales, where he bought this bed and breakfast. We have been running it together ever since between mother, father and daughter, intertwining our own experiences and culture with that of Wales and Britain. We love to see happy and smiling guests so nothing is ever too much trouble for us. After gaining two university degree qualifications in law and journalism, I decided to pause my academic career to help run the business and help fulfil my mother's dream of running a b&b. We work hard but working as a family means that we love to welcome guests to our home and treat them as we would our own family, making this a home away from home. We offer loyalty discounts through our Facebook page and website to repeat customers or those who wish to book direct with us.
We are situated right across from the beach and Irish Sea. The location is popular with locals and tourists alike, particularly for families with kids, due to being by the beach. The area is quiet and idyllic, nestled along the coastline of Snowdonia in a countryside location - perfect for a romantic getaway or quiet break from a busy lifestyle. There are a couple of cafes nearby offering Welsh and British cuisine, although we also have an authentic Indian restaurant onsite. We are a short drive away from Caernarfon, where there are several pubs and restaurants available. The location is quite safe as it is in peaceful area. There is a small store nearby, although supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda are available in Caernarfon and Bontnewydd. There are food festivals and other events held throughout the year, and I would recommend checking the tourism Wales website to see what's on. There is also a private airport and air museum less than 1 mile from us, offering pleasure flights and flying lessons. Several tourist attractions are available within 20-30 minute driving distance, such as Snowdonia, Zip World, Portmeirion, Caernarfon Castle and Anglesey, to name a few.
