Burntisland Studio is a studio apartment – one good-sized main room where you can sleep, work and eat, plus a separate kitchen, hallway and bathroom with a shower. The studio is tastefully decorated, showing off its 10 foot high ceilings. It has charming shutters on both windows, ensuring the place is flooded with light in all weathers. Books, games and a radio are provided, but please note there is no television. There is of course free wi-fi. The kitchen is stocked with sweets, biscuits, cereal and other treats freely available to guests. The studio is on the ground floor of a converted Victorian stables building on the harbour in this beautiful, historic seaside resort. There are regular visitors to the harbour right outside, including seals, whales and puffins! Guests have private parking in the pretty courtyard, and there are amazing views across to Edinburgh from the main room. You can easily access cities such as Edinburgh (about 25 minutes by car or train, direct from the station next door), Glasgow, Stirling, St Andrews or Perth. There's fabulous scenery within reach, too, including the famous Cairngorms National Park, Loch Leven and the stunning East Neuk coast.
