Detached 17th century Welsh cottage on a quiet lane in the village of Tregarth, 2 miles from Bethesda, close to ZipWorld, the mountains of Snowdonia and beaches of Anglesey. Great base for couples, families & small groups, just a 15 min drive to the foot of Snowdon and all the regular events in Llanberis. There is a large lounge with two large sofas (one a sofa bed), fireplace and dining table. Kitchen is well kitted out and the private rear garden has a secure shed, ideal for storing bikes. The garden is accessed both from the kitchen and a gated side passage. The garden shed has a lock and can be used to store bikes, surfboards etc during your stay. If you would like to use the wood burner in the lounge, I can provide logs for an additional cost (based on the length of stay).
I've lived in the area for over 20 years and can advise on activities such as mountains walks, beaches, mountain biking, horse riding etc.
Tregarth is a quiet village between Bangor and Bethesda just off the A5 and A55. The Lon Las Ogwen Sustrans cycle path runs through Tregarth. Bethesda has a number of pubs, cafes, takeaways and shops. Llanberis, at the foot of Snowdon, is about a 20 min drive away and there are many other fantastic walks and hikes nearby.
