Having run a successful holiday apartment business in Rome for many years, we relocated to Edinburgh 3 years ago and have started a business here too. Our apartment has all the amenities you would expect to find in a top quality hotel, whilst maintaining the charm and character of the period it was built. The Victorian Tenemanet is a symbol of Edinburgh, and this one is no exception, oozing with period charm, you will feel like you have stepped back in time and will experience the true meaning of being an Edinburgher. We have renovated and furnished the apartment to a high spec and are sure that you will love staying here as a result.

I’m a full time mum to a boisterous toddler. My husband and I are experienced hosts of holiday apartments and love meeting people from all over the world. We are an international family, him being Italian and myself half Dutch, half English. We love travelling, cooking and socialising.

The neighbourhood is one of the most up and coming in Edinburgh. Having seen a lot of regeneration in the last few decades, it is now home to some of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. It has a variety of supermarkets, charity shops (also very typical of Edinburgh) and is within easy walking distance of most Edinburgh sights. IT still maintains the charm of a “real” neighbourhood, and in no way has fallen victim to the over exposure to tourism that so many other areas have. This means that food prices remain reasonable and restaurant quality is not compromised. There is a friendly community atmosphere and the areas is incredibly safe.
